These do come up thinner than other "Midsize +4" grips 

I recommend to build with 2-3 layers of tape to normalise.

The MAX Align underneath the grip is a fantastic way to feel where the clubface is during the swing. It is at the MAX legal limit for how much the grip is allowed to stick out.
